Its a knock off brand that can't even make a decent piece of hardware. Mostly nonfunctional, very stiff buttons. The buttons almost don't work when pressed as well, requiring much more force to get a response out of it than to just depress the buttons, which stick.
The seller really should list the brand name before the item before selling this trash. Nobody wants hardware that doesn't work. Make sure to check the front of the pad for SEGA's logo, and check the back for the SLS Sticker to figure out whether or not you have the real deal. Pad Hacking would be a more preferable choice too.

When I first got this controller, I thought it felt amazing. The biggest problem I had with it was that there was no way to get the "start" button to work. The Start button on the controller itself defaults to "select," but that was a minor annoyance. I used it for classic 2D style games now and then, and never had any trouble, but then I got the new Street Fighter game, and after using the pad for about 2 hours, the D-Pad on it totally gave out on me. I'm sorry, but I think a controller should be able to stand up to more than 2 hours of play time in a row.

I found this controller very satisfactory, however, the trigger buttons seemed a bit stiff. Also, the C button just seemed to stand out. Overall, this is a good controller.
